Student Housing at Baghdad University
Chartered Group of Companies is the sole subcontractor for constructing dormitories to accommodate 2500 students in the University of Baghdad complex. The client for this project is the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The construction includes two twin towers, each being an independent building, but they share the same common area. These twin towers will be erected on top of a two-story podium building, which will house various common facilities for student use, including but not limited to a canteen, kitchen, study halls, administration zone, clinic, and MEP services.

The scope of work includes milling, repaving with modified bitumen PG (76-10), asphalt crack repair, patching, culvert cleaning, rehabilitation of concrete culverts, and installation of road furniture like Guard Rail, chain link fence, delineators, reflecting road stud, and traffic signs. We’ll also replace bearing pads and expansion joints of all bridges along the road and perform road marking. 1. Kirkuk University Gates & Infrastructure Project
The project includes the implementation of mechanical networks: domestic water, irrigation water, water firefighting, well water, storm & sewerage. Total length: 57,400 ML. 5 concrete water tanks (1,800 m3 total) & 3,000 m3 septic tank with related pumping stations.
infrastructure covers electrical power supply & distribution (27,000 KVA), including substations and backup power generation.
Obligations include data & communication network setup.
Additional work: 82,500 m2 asphalted roads, 46,000 m2 walkways, 40,500 m2 garages. Landscaping university area with fountains, lakes, gardens, and main & secondary gates with fences.

2. Girls dormitory complex Project
24 billion Iraqi Dinars to execute a multi-story apartment complex.
